Book Description
Can be a source of great suffering for the people they hurt and their immediate environment. Even though their causes and symptoms are many, it is characteristic for them to introduce severe discomfort to the sick person and people with whom she has contact. Mental illness occurs in many types. Sometimes rest or proper treatment brings very quick relief, and in some cases lifelong therapy is needed. What are mental diseases?
Definition Mental illnesses (mental disorders) are all disorders of behavior and mental activities that are a source of suffering or difficulties in functioning in society. The sciences that deal with them are clinical psychiatry and clinical psychology. Mental illnesses rarely have rigid borders. They are distinguished in opposition to the concept of mental health, in which man feels general well-being and his social functioning is at an appropriate level.
DEPRESSION On a daily basis, modern man is exposed to various stresses, he faces many challenges often over his strength and endurance. The true joy of life is now a rare occurrence, giving place to sadness and depression. A man can fall into depression. This disease wreaks havoc in feelings, emotions, interpersonal contacts, overcomes the will and can push you to self-destruction. Sadness and depression are emotions that affect every human being. They appear, but disappear, intertwine with joy and a smile. Negative feelings are usually short-lived, occur in a healthy person for several hours or days. However, when low mood states are also accompanied by other symptoms: a sense of lack of energy to live, inability to experience joy, low self-esteem and when this condition lasts for too long you can recognize depression.
Depression can have many complex causes and give different symptoms. Proper diagnosis guarantees the correct treatment and, consequently, the quality of a person's life.
