Peter Kenez is professor emeritus at the Department of History University of California, Santa Cruz. Professor Kenez taught Russian and modern European history. The 2016 Constantine Panunzio Distinguished Emeriti Award, honoring emeriti professors in the University of California system was awarded to UC Santa Cruz professor emeritus of history Peter Kenez.
