His whip is already on her back and our nation will never rise to her previous glory again. Holy Scripture is not an anthology of Christian literature. It's God's revelation in human history. The word of God is the truth and has a power to transform the fallen humanity and His power continues to manifest in our lives through the Holy Spirit. In literature, we meet heroes and heroins only when we open the book, but our God lives in us even when the Book is closed. God wants us to live in us for He is the only living God. He wants us to enter into deeper relationships with Him therefore we should experience what our living God does and can do to enrich our lives. The author challenges us to discover our spiritual gifts in order to serve Him better, become the salt and light in our broken world and to rediscover His power, love and grace.

Professor Michael Lee teaches international relations and international political economy at Hunter College the City University of New York.
Professor Lee graduated with Bachelor's degree from University of Toronto and Ph D from Indiana University.
