Whether barren or pregnant, joy or sorrow, married or single, all of God's women were blessed in an insurmountable way.The matriarchs, the women who paved the road with their lives, sat at the foot of Christ. They wept at the cross, miraculously received healing, birthed new generations of godly leaders and prayed over their children and husbands. Each was flesh and blood, and heart and soul. These women are written in the Word of God for a reason. Their strong and courageous testimonies strengthen Christian women today. Our Lord chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; He chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things and the things that are not to nullify the things that are so that no one may boast before Him (1 Corinthians 1:27-28).
