Barry Gallagher is a Michigan football author and archeologist who digs into Michigan Football History - everyday! In 1989, Gallagher told Bo Schembechler that he would write a book about the famous coach. Bo's response was classic. He said, Who the heck would want to read a book about some old football coach? I told him that lots of people would want to read about his Michigan career and I hope that I am right! So, this book is finally done and ready for Michigan football fans to enjoy! It's a labor of love that puts Coach Schembechler's exceptional work in perspective.
This is Gallagher's fourth book. His first book about Michigan football history (published in 2014) was titled, 21-194-13: Michigan Football's Greatest Era. It detailed the modern history of Michigan football from 1948 to 2010. He also blogs about the history of Michigan Football everyday at: www.GoBlueFootballHistory.com (Note - Gallagher is donating a portion of the proceeds from this book to the Bo Schembechler Scholarship at The University of Michigan.)
