Book Description
The book of Matthew is a book of promise and fulfillment. It is a promise because God sent
His only son Jesus. He is being singled out as our King, our Messiah, and the Prince of Peace.
Jesus' main responsibility was to honor and glorify the people who were around Him. God's
allegiance to us is an affirmation that Jesus will be back again. He will re-established Himself
as our majesty as He had promised based on the scriptures.
The book of Matthew is a book of fulfillment because God's promise to us had been fulfilled
through Jesus. Conforming to 2 Corinthians 1:18-20 it says and I quote: But as surely
as God is faithful, our message to you is not Yes and No. For the Son of God, Jesus
Christ, who was preached among you by us-by me and Silas and Timothy-was not Yes
and No, but in him it has always been Yes. For no matter how many promises God has
made, they are Yes in Christ. And so through him the Amen is spoken by us to the glory
of God.
Our faithfulness will open the door in heaven. So, we need to stick with our faith in God.
By reason of our loyalty and acceptance of Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior we need to
appreciate God's plan for us and we need to respect and adore Jesus as the lamb of God. We
have to remember that Matthew put an emphasis on Jesus that He is indeed a Jewish person.
His ancestors were King David and Abraham.
